Cordia Blackswan has completed clearance of its latest site on Great Hampton Street

Demolition on Great Hampton Street has been taking place at 5:30am to minimise disruption and ensure safety of pedestrians and road users, clearing the way for Cordia Blackswan to begin delivery of The Lamp Works, a contemporary rental development reflecting the architectural heritage of the Jewellery Quarter.
Located on the site of a former textile and furniture factory and close to the Lord Clifton, the Lamp Works is a residential led mixed use scheme, providing a mix of 148 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments to revitalise the areas offering.
The Lamp Works will also host a selection of commercial units, fronting Great Hampton Street and Harford Street.
Cordia Blackdwan’s new development will comprise six distinct but cohesive blocks around a striking urban woodland, with original steel structural design created by a multi-award-winning landscape designer. Residents will also benefit from high-quality communal facilities, including a shared lounge, co-working space, studio and communal kitchen/diner, perfect for hosting events.
Construction will begin in August 2021 with apartments ready for occupation in 2023.
